Pulse Workspace version 4.0.118

Payroll

  1. A pay entered for an employee that is subsequently discontinued will be automatically deleted. This should very rarely occur as an employee cannot be discontinued if a pay exists.
  2. A system error is no longer generated if a Timesheet entry is created with a meal finish time but not a meal start time.
  3. If an employee shift starts prior to the shift start date and incurs early shift penalty that penalty will be assigned to the shift start date. Prior to this update it was assigned to the previous date. For example, an employee is rostered to work 7.6 hours on Wednesday but actually starts work on Tuesday at 11:45 PM. In this case all hours and penalties will be assigned to Wednesday.

Payroll

  1. Pay Details Entry toolbar options are now disabled while data is being loaded/refreshed from the database to avoid cross-thread synchronisation issues.
  2. Breaking Change. All Pay Details Entry modules have been reviewed for consistency. In particular, if deleting / cancelling records results in no records in the list, a new record is automatically created. This means the New button no longer has to be clicked to create the record before it can be edited. Records created in this fashion will not be saved to the database until the Ok button is clicked.

Item 2 is notated as a breaking change. In previous versions the New button had to be clicked before entering transactions into an empty list. This is no longer the case. Simply edit the transaction as displayed on the screen.
