During recent work in implementing Part-Public Holidays into our payroll software we have noticed that some clients have a Public Holiday minimum of 4 hours defined for Casual employees which is contrary to the Registered & Licensed Clubs 2010 Award section 29.3(a). This update will set the minimum hours for a Casual employee to 0 on a Public Holiday.
The minimum hours for shifts worked on a day declared as a Part-Public Holiday (ie Christmas Eve) is now the same as shifts worked on a full public holiday; four hours.
This change was implemented following consultation with Clubs Queensland and completes the implementation of part-public holidays into our software.

An issue that caused transaction posting to fail when a General Journal had one or more blank Comment fields has been corrected.
